Kathmandu : Sompal Kami is a Nepalese cricketer born in born 2 February 1996. Kami is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. His bowling speed was measured above 140 km/h during the match against Afghanistan in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.

1. Sompal Kami is a leading Nepali pacer who bowls at around the 140 kmph mark. Sompal made his entry to Kathmandu Region No. 3 through the Nepali Cricket Fan Club. He was one of the main players of Kathmandu Region No.3 which won the U-19 National Championship.

2. Som Pal Kami has been wearing jersey number 62 by default. Sompal had wanted to wear jersey number 10 while playing for the national team but since it was already taken by another member of the squad, he wanted to go with 64 to make it feel like 10 with the addition of the two numbers.
