Nepal defeat South Africa by 6 wickets in Blind Cricket World Cup

Kathmandu : Nepali Blind cricket team recorded the first win in the 2nd Blind Cricket T20 World Cup ongoing in New Delhi, India, by defeating South Africa by 6 wickets in the match played Thursday.
In the Thursday match, South Africa had posted a victory target of 147 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 5 wickets before Nepal. Nepal met this target in 17.3 overs at the loss of 4 wickets.
Nepali cricketer Sunil Subedi Chhetri contributed the highest-46 runs for his team while Sunil Ranamagar smashed 38 runs and Ramesh Bahadur Baniya made 24 runs individually. Buhle Bhidla, Doctor William Malinga, Tefo Lesley Classen and Sonwabile Bidla took one wicket each for South Africa.
Bhule Bhidla made 32 off 25 balls. Sunil Magar picked 2 wickets for Nepal giving just 26 runs from his 4 overs. Kritan Duwal got 1 scalp.Earlier, Sonwabile Bidla top scored for South Africa with 57 off 59 balls hitting two fours, while opener Dominic Scott Adriaans scored 33 and Buhle Bhidla scored a quick fire 32 off 25 balls hitting two fours.
Earlier, Nepal lost two matches the first match to Bangladesh by 59 runs and the second to Australia by 10 wickets.
