Nepal vs Pakistan Today | Women’s Asia Cup 2016
Kathmandu : Nepali national women’s cricket team take on test playing giants Pakistan today in the ACC Women’s Asia Cup at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok Thailand.
Coach Raju Basnyat is likely to try new opening pair apart from making changes in the batting order in a bid to put up a fighting total on the board. “I have planned to make changes in the batting order than that of Hong Kong.
“We don’t have any plans against Pakistan but our Thursday’s warm-up game against Thailand has helped us to organise ourselves in terms of playing conditions. Pakistan are better opponents in both the bowling and batting department. We just need to make sure that we get our basics right,” said Basnyat on the eve of the match.
Nepali eves put up under par batting performance in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifying Series Asia Region in Hong Kong, though it finished runner up. The highest score Team Nepal managed was 108 runs against Thailand.
