Nepal vs Japan friends match Live Details | Charity match
Kathmandu : Nepali football team is playing against Japan in a charity match to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between Nepal and Japan, at ANFA complex, Satdobato on today. The visiting Japanese team will be skippered by goalkeeper Nozawa Yohsuke, who holds J-League experience and plies his trades with Albirex Niigata, a top flight club in Singapore.
Skipper of the visiting team, Yosuke Nozawa said that it is very special to face against his former coach and his team. "I played under coach Gyo when i was young, and now to face his team at this place is special. But that doesnt mean we will take it lightly, we will play for win in the field," said Nozawa.
He also said that he watched Nepal’s matches against Brunei and Laos in Solidarity Cup and expects to beat the home team led by his former mentor. “Gyotoku Koji used to be my coach during my school days back in Japan but when I meet his team on the ground I will play for a win,” said Kazuyuki.
Nepal coach Koji expected to get a tough contest despite the game being just for a charity. “Both of their key players (Kazyuki and Yohsuke) are really good. We are expecting to have a good game tomorrow,” said Koji. Nepal will be skippered by Anil Gurung, who only appeared for Nepal twice from bench during the Solidarity Cup.
