Back to back win for Nepal in ICC U-19 World Cup Qualifiers
Kathmandu : Nepal U-19 cricket team have continued their winning streak with another 5 wicket win in the second match of the ICC U-19 World Cup Qualifiers for Asia Region at Singapore Cricket Club in Padang on Tuesday over Malaysia.

While skipper and leggie Sandeep Lamichhane claimed five wickets for a second match in a row, another spinner Pawan Sarraf took three crucial wickets. in reply Nepal had started its innings, chasing an seemingly easy target of 59 runs. However, it stumbled when Sandeep Sunar returned to the pavllion with just 6 runs in his account. He is struggling to find his form in the tournament.All the participating teams will have to play twice against the same team in the competition that is being held in double round league system. The team with highest points among Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal and Afghanistan will qualify for the final round of the U-19 world cup to be held in New Zealand next year.
