Kathmandu : The must waited Dhangadhi Premier League is All set to begin from 9th of April. Dhangadi Premier League (DPL) is the first tournament where players went through auction and was bought by six different teams. The Tournament is going to be held in the collaboration of Dhangadhi Cricket Academy and Sudur Paschimanchal Cricket Academy.

National team skipper Paras Khadka will lead Team Chauraha and his deputy Gyanendra Malla captains CYC Attariya. Similarly Biratnagar will be captained by Sharad Veswakar as Biratnagar Kings while Rupandehi will be captained by Shakti Gauchan as Rupendehi Challenger. Kanchanpur will be represented by Kanchanpur Iconic in the Captainship of Binod Bhandari. s. The capital City of Nepal “Kathmandu” will be Captained by Basant Regmi as Kathmandu Goldens.

The main sponsor will be Sagarmatha Cement which will give Rs 15 lakh to the organizers and co-sponsor will be Raaika Tours and Travels, Bells Cafe, Hotel Devotee, Chaudhary Book Depo and CPAN. And the promoters of the tournament will be Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan, Hotel Association of Kailali, District Development Committee of Kailali and Cricket Players Associations of Nepal. AP1 HD Television will live telecast the matches of Dhangadi Premier League.
