Nepali Women team announce for Asia Cup
Kathmandu : A 15 member Nepali women’s cricket team has been announced for the Asia Cup T20 on Friday. Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Thailand are the participating teams in the women's Asia T20 Cup with the tournament starting from November 27.
Nepal had earned the berth in the Asia Cup by finishing second in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier Asia Region held in Hong Kong.
Nepal women’s squad: Rubina Chhetry (c), Jyoti Pandey, Karuna Bhandari, Neera Rajopadhyay, Roshani Bohara, Sangita Rai, Sarita Magar, Sobha Aale, Indu Barma, Kajal Shrestha, Nairry Thapa, Rashmi Sharma Chaulagain, Sabnam Rai, Saraswati Kumari Chaudhary and Sita Rana Magar.
Pakistan women’s squad: Sana Mir (ODI Captain),Nida Dar, Anum Amin, Saadia Yousuf, Maham Tariq, Nain Abidi Bismah Maroof (T20I Captain), Javaria Wadood, Asmavia Iqbal, Nahidi Bibi, Ayesha Zafar, Sidra Nawaz, Aliya Riaz, Irum Javed and Diana Baig.
India women’s Squad : Harmanpreet Kaur (capt),Vellaswamy Vanitha, Anuja Patil, Veda Krishnamurthy, Sushma Verma (wk) Smriti Mandhana, Mithali Raj, Sabbhineni Meghana, , Nuzhat Parween, Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bisht, Preeti Bose, Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey, Mansi Joshi
