Kathmandu : Aussies named an unchanged squad for the second at Bengaluru against India. Captain Steve Smith confirmed earlier today what was obvious in the wake of his team’s massive win at Pune last week, that no changes were needed despite a decidedly different pitch being prepared in Bengaluru.
"We can take a lot of heart from the way we played last week. The conditions were very tough and the way the boys adopted to the conditions was appreciable. "But it is a new game and we will have to make a fresh start. We will have to start from ball one," Smith told reporters at the pre-match press conference at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Smith had no questions Australia would confront a reaction from the hosts, whose 19-coordinate unbeaten streak snapped in Pune, as they look for a moment progressive win to be in a top notch position in the arrangement at the midway stage. Anticipating that the Bengaluru pitch should be unique in relation to Pune, Smith thinks batting exertion in the main innings will demonstrate the path forward for his side in the up and coming Test.
